According to a Georgia Attorney’s blog posted at http://atlantaduinews.com/2012/04/will-mobile-hangover-helper-services-lead-to-duis.html, a doctor in Las Vegas has set up a mobile service that will respond to help ease your hangover.  Apparently, the good doctor will use his medical knowledge to get you back on your feet after a long night of abusing your liver.  This will surely allow you to get back out there to abuse your liver some more.
There is no indication that there are any plans to introduce such as service in the San Francisco Bay Area.  The main concern with such a service is:  Do we really want massively hung over individuals feeling good enough to drive themselves?  Just because someone slept for an hour or two, and doesn’t feel “drunk”  anymore, doesn’t mean that he is safe to drive.  I have seen plenty of driving under the influence defendants who made this mistake.  Alcohol is metabolized out of the body at a fairly predictable rate, and no hang over remedy in the world will speed the process up.  The only way to be assured of sobriety is to sleep it off long enough for all of the alcohol to exit your body.
